| An insanely beautiful, perfectly romantic vintage dress. Made of a pale, shell pink watered taffeta, it has a lovely marbled effect. Notched sweetheart neckline with an unusual draped self collar, supported by netting for emphasis, that sweeps up and over the shoulder line to form a delightful dropped portrait collar in the back (to expose a deliciously vulnerable and kissable nape...). The ensemble is completed with an incredible, full circle skirt with stitched down pleats at the hips. No labels present. Pinked seams, and metal back zip with hook and eye closure at the top. Grosgrain petersham ribbon stay at waist on the inside. Dress is in good condition, though it will need a professional dry cleaning. There is some slight stress showing to the stitched down pleats at the waist, also at back of waist. Slight stress showing to zipper stitches. Some wear (and a repair) at the notch on the neckline. Small grayish mark just above waist. Small wear hole at back of dress, near the right shoulder blade. It sounds like a lot, but it's really not! I just want to be thorough. This beautiful dancing dress measures: 50 inches from top to bottom, 15 inches from top to waist approximately 17 inches from shoulder to shoulder, 18 inches from armpit to armpit 28 inch waist up to 46 inch hips and an incredible 220 inches around the bottom hem (that's 18 feet!) $69.99 |
