Cleaning: Vintage is delicate (unless it's double knit polyester, that stuff is fire-proof!)
We do not recommend tossing your 40s rayon dress into your washing machine with
your jeans or bath towels. If you have a trusted dry cleaner, by all means use them! Do
be cautious with exceptionally fragile clothing, or things embellished with beads,
sequins, buttons, flocking, or hand painting. Dry cleaning uses rather harsh chemicals
and high heat.
For the most part, we recommend gently hand washing, and in some cases the
delicate cycle on your washing machine.
