The most incredible vintage dressing gown
we've ever had the pleasure of owning!

I was told by the original owners granddaughter
that it was part of her 1938 wedding trousseau.
Made of a rich, luscious rayon satin in the
prettiest shade of blush pink, it's cut on the
bias. The feminine cut of the gown is
complimented by a beautiful sheer ecru floral
lace from the shoulders to the under bust.

Delicate puffed sleeves are trimmed in the
same sheer lace. Gown closes up the front with
a very long metal zipper. Comes complete with
it's original sash belt that can be tied multiple
ways (I've shown it with a large bow in the front,
and also in the back). The sash is 7 inches
wide, and measures a staggering 130 inches
long!

This incredible gown is in near mint condition.
The only flaws are some very minor hem soiling
(hardly noticeable), a small pull in the fabric
(pictured right) and two very small grayish
spots (also show with arrows to the right). All
seams are pinked and are in good, strong
condition.

58 inches long
16 inches from top to waist
15 inches from shoulder to shoulder
12.5 inch long sleeves
36 inch bust
28 inch waist
up to 40 inch hips
144 inches around the bottom hem.
