Carol Horn Vintage
Carol Horn was a designer from the 1960s starting firstly as a designer at Bryant 9 a Kids sportswear clothing company, she soon moved onto to aldult garments into the late 1960s at Benson & Partners and then Malcolm Starr where she breifly designed a range of clothing.
Around the mid to late 1970s Carol created her own label making garments from natural fabrics with very much an ethnic feel to her items of clothing. In 1975 she won the Hall of Fame Award Coty Award for her designs.
In 1983 her latest ventures were started, Carol Horn Sportswear and Carol Horn Knits which are the most common available for sale at auction.
Carols earlier vintage clothing is more difficult to find but it has a raw feel to it and is well worth a look!
